more information

Wildflower Cottage is a real Irish sweetie. The cottage is over 200 years old, completely renovated to be a beautiful and authentic Irish cottage with every luxury and comfort from which to explore Ireland's dramatic Atlantic coast. The cottage is secluded, sits in seven acres of land running down to the River Stragar and is 1.5 miles from the fishing port of Killybegs.
Traditional open-plan kitchen/sitting room with a real fire and two cottage fireside chairs. Modern electric range with five ring ceramic hob, two ovens, grill and plate warmer. Kitchen has all Miele appliances (dishwasher, fridge and washing machine) and a Belfast sink. Handmade pink and oak dresser and table and chairs. Excellent quality china and kitchen equipment.

Master Bedroom: King size (5 ft) bed with excellent quality pocket sprung mattress, fine bedding and linen. The bed is modelled on an original Irish design dating from 1918. The second bedroom has two sweet twin beds nestled under the rafters.

The bath has a large walk in shower with 8" rainshower head and a free standing slipper bath. Radiant heating in the floors and a heated towel rack are welcome luxuries.

Three feet thick walls and a two feet thick thatched roof guarantee a quiet honeymoon getaway.
