Schloss Kogl, an alpine family resort, is set within the rolling hills and snow-capped mountains of the Austrian countryside. It is a 30 minute drive from Salzburg and is part of the Salzkammergut area known for its beautiful pristine lakes. The property and surrounding estate has been owned by the same family since 1872. It is very reminiscent of 'The Sound of Music'. The house is set on 75 acres of private park, including a clay tennis court and a small circular swimming pool. Salzburg is just a stone's throw away; Vienna is just a two hour journey. Cultural events and activities abound.

The entire house has been recently restored. The nine bedrooms are located all across the second floor. The dining rooms, sitting rooms and communal areas are on the first floor. A private chapel on the grounds was built in 1900 and can handle ceremonies for up to 50 guests. The group can partake of golf, hiking, horseback riding, fishing and bicycling. This is truly an elegant location for a very special wedding.
