A wedding at Nottoway plantation is turning a page back to a time of elegant style and manners. The experience of a wedding in its spacious location and surrounds is a refreshing contrast to today's commercial urban sites. The plantation, located at the edge of a sugarcane field, was completed in 1859. The architectural jewel was owned by a wealthy Virginia planter named John Hampden Randolph, his wife Emily Jane and their eleven children. Randolph acquired over 7,000 acres of land making his fortune in sugarcane. Nottoway is the largest remaining antebellum mansion in the Southern United States and is located along Louisiana's Great River Road in White Castle, the heart of Plantation Country. Nottoway is a massive plantation. A multi-million dollar renovation has just taken place restoring Nottoway to her days of glory.

Nottoway is located between New Orleans and Baton Rogue and can accommodate 60 guests. The indoor wedding facility can accommodate 100 as well as being able to accommodate 300 persons at the indoor dining room or 300 persons under an open air ten outside. Nottoway plantation has the facility to provide all wedding support services from florists, video reflections, groom and wedding cakes, wedding dresses and musicians. This is a full service wedding venue. A wedding here can be done in the true grand style of the south.
